Pre game jitters

UTC is ranked 8th in their class of football, they have a couple of guys (a NT and OL) that would be at a bigger school if they wanted (make the ESPN all Freak team for some such). It’s the 1st game of the year and weird things can happen.
Not saying we lose or any nonsense like that but if it’s still a game at the half I will not be surprised. I don’t think it will look like the NCST game but I’m hopeful it’s only close for a quarter.

UTC is my second favorite team. Used to watch them play at the old Chamberlain Field before they built Finley Stadium.
I'm sure Josh isn't going to show our full hand against them, but I don't think it will be close very long. The talent disparity will simply be overwhelming.
I think our passing game will eat them up.

If we don't score 60 and or let them score 20, then yeah we got MAJOR problems.

They aren’t built to stop this kind of offense. They’ll ease Nico in though so they may not score as many as you want

Iowa had one of the beat defenses in the nation last year. We "eased Nico in" against them in the bowl game.

I hear ya, but you didn’t have a game the following week. You don’t want to show NCST anything and you want to build his confidence

Not the playbook. I do expect Nico's arm strength and accuracy will be shown
