Ok...Heupel is in Year 3, and we are struggling so far on offense. Here is the illustration that came to mind. Since he has been the HC at UT, Heupel's Vols have scored 34 points or more against every opponent except for:

2021 Florida
2021 Ole Miss
2021 Alabama
2021 Georgia
2022 Georgia
2023 Austin Peay

Now...how does that game look with a different officiating crew? I don't know...but in my opinion, we are a couple of completions away from this offense looking very different...and the receivers haven't been doing Milton any favors. I'm hoping that they are just a bit out of sync, and I'm trusting that Heupel and his staff will get it worked out...so the question would be, "is it too soon to be worried about our offense"?

I think we will have the answer after Saturday's match-up in Gainesville.

I think the new receivers are mostly to blame with the offensive struggles. The line and backs are doing really well. While Milton is not throwing perfect balls, if it hits both your hands, you gotta bring it in.
