Because Bone is testing the waters in the NBA? Same as Admiral did?

Josiah James says hi.

Per backchannels, he and his family have been telling people that he’s gone for quite a while, even if he gets just a 2nd round grade.

Grants likely gone seeing as he’s seemingly shot up draft boards the past two months.

Hope you’re ready for 30 minutes a night of BIG JOHN FULK next annum

Even if we lose them both, hardly think that puts us in the NIT. Still a 23-25 win team, IMO

You're over the top on a lot of your basketball takes.

As of now, the roster next year does not look very promising.

Starting 5:

Turner
Bowden
James
Walker/Burns
Fulkerson

Bench:

Jalen
Pons
Walker/Burns
Pember
Gaines

Gaines and Pember won’t contribute next year, both are twigs and need a year at least in the weight room. Pons and Jalen hardly contribute as it is.

Prick is going to have to knock it out of the park with Jucos and Grad transfers to field a competitive squad next year.

As it stands you have one good post defender in Fulk (Burns isn’t good defensively per Rob Lewis), no real depth at guard (don’t see how all 3 don’t start with Bone gone, James likely guards the opposing 3). Post scoring will be a major issue if Burns doesn’t hit the ground running.

Bowden and Turner, as good as they are when they’re on, are prone to extended slumps.

If Pons, Johnson, and Walker all take big steps this offseason, then maybe we’ll be fine. As it stands though I’m not expecting the first two to ever do anything of note here.

It's early and there's a lot of moving pieces and assumptions being made. Grant coming back instantly makes this a Top 20 team. And if he doesn't this staff has still proven they're some of the best developers of talent in the conference. I fully expect them to be able to string together a 20+ win season next year and make the tournament.

I'm not ready to write off Pons or Walker, but I admit they'll need to take a big step forward next year. I think they can & will. Rob said Burns' defense has held him back in practice, but that he likes his offense and thinks he's going to be a player with continued S&C.

Hopefully Kemp and Johnson transfer out and as you mentioned we use their spots to grab another 5 and then the next best available player via Grad transfer or Juco. That sounds like it has some teeth to it.

Turner, Bowden, and James should be really good for us. 2 proven seniors guards and a McDonalds AA isn't anything to gloss over.

We're going to take a step back next year with everything that we're losing, but Barnes has turned us into a legitimate program again for the first time in a decade. The incoming recruiting classes and results prove that -- With his track record I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Per rumors on campus, Grant is leaving. But those are only rumors.

I think we will be fine next year. I think we will win 22 games in the regular season, give or take.
