Expectations Shape Season Perception

OK...both seasons are over. UT Men finished 26-9/13-5 and the Women finished 24-7/11-5.
As a fan, I can't tell you how happy I am with the Men's season and how disappointed I am in the Women's. These are two programs moving in opposite directions. I don't have any faith in Holly moving the Women's program forward, even with two consecutive #1 classes. I have complete faith in Barnes moving the Men's program forward, despite having 0 recruits (currently) in the 2018 class.
The question is...how much faith does the administration have in Holly, and in Barnes? Will they cut bait with Holly and will they get Barnes inked to a nice extension? What would saying "No" to either mean about the future of the programs?
