Not specifically at least. He just said that his source was solid and well intentioned but was purposefully lied to by whoever that was higher up and feeding him info IIRC

VF30 is one of the better insiders in VOLS internet. Several VOLS writers like John Brice were misled by the same people iirc.

Idk that he's been spot on but he's been prettt damn reliable in the past
Look idk if he was trolling us all or not. On one hand I think he truly does love Tenn and is a solid poster. On the other hand he has always posted with a slight edge, one that shows he's no amatuer and knows how this whole internet game is played so it's possible he realized the troll potential and took advantage in which case, I'm honestly not even mad and can't blame him

And that is why the backlash was so intense. Not only did they not put out the Grumors, they straight up encouraged them. What did they think was going to happen when they dangled Gruden in our faces only to have been trying to back door Schiano the whole time? It was an unbelievably incompetent move even by Tennessee standards.
