Very interesting tweet from Rucker:

Sounds like he might actually stay. Unfinished business?

Holy shite, I'm starting to get happy in my pants.

What are the chances of a medical redshirt?

Almost a certainty if he applies for one. If he does stay this would be the biggest recruiting boom ever.

In his own words (long but worth the read). He really does love it here and he loves it here beyond football. Talks about how he will settle here one day and definitely sounds like he wants to return.

Would love to have a healthy Maggitt for one more year. DL will be nasty with or without him next season, but he brings leadership and an intensity no one else on the team is capable of.

No doubt in my mind Tennessee would've won another two games this season with a healthy Maggitt.

This. I feel like it was a turning point injury that cost us, especially with a young MLB out there. It took the defense a long time to adjust to not having him there and really hurt our defense overall.

Like peas and carrots - Maggit and Barnett. Holy double fricksticks if CM comes back - and stays healthy for an entire season. My guess is that his draft stock would rise considerably.

No doubt. I just hope he does come back. It sounds like he does love it here.

If Cam and JRM stay, and if Maggitt pursues a medical redshirt and is granted one...
