I was impressed with the defense. Until the last series. Overall it was closer than I thought it would be. Bama is not that good.

Its not so much that bama isn't good, its that we are much better than our record indicates. Its a little of both.
What has impressed me thus far is that 7 games into the season, this team has played hard every game with few penalties. Arguably our worst game for penalties was OU. They have been ready to play every week.
bama took our return game out by kicking away. They never gave us a chance to get a return. Our FG game is really bad right now. I'm sure bama game planned it to take our return game out, smart on their part.
