NEGAVOLS!
They need to be eradicated from this fanbase. They find something so unhappy even when we are winning.
They weren't happy we destroyed NC State and were complaining we scored too many points against Kent State.
They have regrouped for Oklahoma, and, treating the game like they treated NC State.
BVS is one thing but just constantly being negative warrants to go find another team.

I am recovering from my BVS.
Okie is not a terrible team. The folks saying 9-3 had this has one of the 3. So the Pundits had a reason to feel this way and I can only imagine it was that they thought Okie would be further along than they are. My BVS says this is the game they pull it together as expected. My eyes and brain tell me that the Vols are a year ahead of schedule and to embrace the ride.
Honestly I’m torn. I didn’t expect the NCST game to unravel like that. I believe it even surprised the staff.
So I am officially on a mini weekend with the wife in the mountains. So hopefully all goes as planned and we are running the tRant crazy Sunday

I have learned one thing
If you don't watch matchups like this, the team ends up winning.
That's why I resort to highlights because I get to enjoy the good stuff without having my phone nearby ready to call 9-1-1.
I prefer to watch the certain winnable ones.
Watching the Georgia State experience told me something. Then there was JG.
That's how you control BVS and HBP.

I have never been negative except back when Butch was coach and not benching JG that kid had an attitude and wasn’t very good.
Yet Butch allowed it to kill team and his job
And watching him fire up that cigar
Oh man I wanted to go punch him in the face
After all the money we paid him and chances we gave him.

I didn't approve of that decision for a con man to coach that team because Hart botched the Gruden thing and was never sold during those winning seasons. I believe players like Dobbs and Kamara did it on their own to lead the team. When the first opportunity to leave was presented to some players, they jumped at it. Totally messed up Herd, who was a dynamic player in high school. It made me not follow the program while he was there. That all went away when at least Fulmer was installed as the AD until the Gump experiment was a disaster. Got a real AD and brought along his football coach. It has been something ever since because you rarely see a 1-2 home run hire.

I totally agree with everything you said we had some dynamic players but no good coaches to push the players .
Now we do and we all feel it.

The worst year in the Botch era was where virtually the entire team "quit on him". It was so bad the last game of his reign felt like they were trying so hard to lose.

When your own fans start booing it’s a problem.
Pruit seemed to have made it worse.

It was bonehead decision after bonehead decision.
Then the refusal to sit JG bad game after bad game made it worse.
Then the investigation into the recruiting fiasco was the iceberg moment, which pulled Fulmer down as well.
Apathy was such at an all-time high during that long stretch of a disastrous era.
