Serious Question. What position group does Texas have an advantage at?

A lot of banter each way.
But let’s do some detailed analysis. What position groups would you give Texas an advantage at over A&M?
And vice versa. Where does A&M have an advantage?
We’ve had our fun throwing bullshite banter around. For for a moment let’s consider who actually has an advantage here from a position group perspective.

Reed needs to get going right away in this game. If he’s off like he was for a half and Arch continues to be decent like he’s been the last 3 games it could get interesting. Personally I think this game will look a lot like the Texas/Georgia game.

Their dline in my opinion. Not much better but better. We pass rush well but tackling RBs has been a bit of a problem all season for us.

I agree a hundred percent. If the Aggies play a half like SC they will lose. I actually still haven’t seen them play an entire good game of football on both defense and offense at the same time against a good team.
I’ve seen them do just enough to win. I think this game is close and it will come down to special teams. We have a kickoff return advantage. But Texas has the FG kicking advantage. If it’s close late, I see Texas winning. We don’t have the kicker to win with a forty yard FG. But the Aggie OL I think may be a key difference in the game. Ours is way better than theirs. The defensive units are flipped. Our weakness is run defense Horns weakness is pass protection.
I see A&M throwing the ball A LOT. Deep and often. And I see Texas trying to run the ball until they are forced to pass.
If Texas keeps us on the bench and slows down our offense. And gets some points at the end of long runs and gets to the fourth quarter with a chance to win, I like their chances. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Aggies up by three scores in the fourth.

Yep. We have a pretty big run defense problem. But they don’t really run the ball all that successfully. They like to pass which actually plays to our advantage. If they run the ball and can get 4 yards a carry it will be a close game. They aren’t all that successful at that though. So I think they may abandon that plan if they get down by a score. They would be smart to stick with it though through thick and thin. I don’t see them winning a shoot out kind of game. They need to keep our receivers and offensive unit on the bench. Be methodical and play a field position game. They can win if they do that. If they try make a day where Manning has a Heisman moment throwing it will backfire. They won’t win a shootout.

Kicker
Damnit. Forgot about shite arse kicker. For the love of god I hope he gets ZERO attempts today.
I don't understand why we have a kicker like this. Inexcusable.

Our starter got hurt, Bond seemed like he was coming along until he was terrible in the USC game
So we just scored a bunch of touchdowns instead in the second half

Yeah. We’ve gone full Zirkel. We started with Zirkel. Went to Bond due to injury and we are probably back to Zirkel now.

I think Bond will be the kicker unless he misses one early

They have a generational talent at QB

Elko has already said Bond is our guy. He let Zirkel kick on Sat bc he’s a senior and won’t kick again.
I’m guessing today he’ll be going with the player who's kicked over 50 career FGs, not the one who kicked his most in the game last week (and missed a 36 yard field goal).
If the game comes down to a FG, hold your breath and hope for the best.

I have not watched A&M, so this is an honest question....your kick return man is better than Niblett for Texas? He looked electric. Who is your kickoff return man?
