Bingo...one of the main reasons and we also have plenty of scholarships
availible.

tch jone's first full cycle class finished 7th overall in 2014... Kirby 2017 class is blowing that out of the water, not even comparable
Not comparable? UGA is currently third, and the difference between 3rd and 7th is normally like one blue chip guy or MAYBE two

Isn't Smart doing what Jimbo did that his staff is made up of recruiters first and once his teams have talent he will go for more coaching approach.

I mean didn't Richt bring in top 10 classes annually? He always had tons of talent
Have to factor in the players he would kick off the team every year.

Uh no. There is a large difference most years. And this year's class will be good enough to be first most years.

Yeah...he brought in about a 10th ranked class yearly which was typically good for about 3rd-5th in his own league.
Right now Kirby has a class that is better than any richt signed in his 15 years, and we've still got 4-6 big targets left on the board.
Anyone that can't see the difference in kirby's recruiting and richt's is simply ignorant on the topic or willingly being naive.

Instead of just looking at rankings, which is stupid, why don't you look at overall score? Ya know..since that is a more accurate indicator across different years.
Butch's first full cycle in 14 (32 players):
5*- 0
4*- 16
3*- 16
Total score: 274.76
Avg player: 89.51
Kirby's first full cycle in 17 currently (20 currently):
5*- 2
4*- 15
3*- 3
Total score: 291.11
Avg player: 93.52
So to sum up butch signed THIRTY TWO guys, nearly half of which were 3*, and ended with a score of 274. Kirby, with over a month still to go and several big fish out there, already has more 5* and comparable 4* with 12 LESS players. And the total score totally shits on butch's class and average player ranking blows it out of the water.
Anyone thinking butch and kirby's first full classes are even remotely similar is simply an idiot, but that's par for the course for scarletfire.
Btw kirby's average player ranking is 2nd nationally right now only behind Ohio State, which has a sickening six 5* out of 17 recruits.

Since teams take different numbers of players every year, it hard to gauge by anything but average ranking, which for the past 5 years has been fairly close within the top 10 outside of Bama getting huge leads some years

Not that it matters but we have 3 4stars that should be rated higher. Fromm is Georgia's no 2 all time passing yardage leader behind Watson. Beal was a 5 star last year has had trouble with injuries this year. Mcbride was a 5 star got in a car wreck when he came back to football played running back all year and is still the no 1 prospect at middle linebacker. All those guys should be 5 stars and rated higher

Again, you're wrong and just typing bullshite. But we've come to expect that from you.

Again, you're mad at the truth. No one said your precious class isn't better than Butch's first class @ Tenner, but saying its miles ahead isn't accurate either. Keep being a salty little frick though

But...it is.
Even just looking at right now (and ignoring the several more 4* we are going to bring in), we have a much higher total and far better average player rating...in 12 LESS players.
Your logic of "one was 3rd, one was 7th..pretty close so not much difference" would be like me saying "98 tennessee, 95 nebraska...both won the title so not much difference"

Not mad at all bro. You just keep throwing shite out there and it's mostly bullshite. Nothing more, nothing less. Have a great day

It should tell you something that this apparent bama fan (who I'm pretty sure is an alter) just can't control himself from shite talking the recruiting board anytime UGA and kirby come up.
I mean...if I was a bama fan I'd be taking life pretty easy. I sure wouldn't be too concerned about anyone else's recruiting considering how my time was doing, unless of course he's a bit nervous on the inside.

No. 3 classes out of the top ten from 2010-13, and never an elite OL class.
