This is like winning at Duke, or Rutgers. Just improbably hard to do.

So he's basically on par with David Cutcliffe or Greg Schiano? I thought you guys were excited though...

Greg Schiano didn't do as much at Rutgers as Mullen did, and Rutgers was in the Big East. Not the SEC West.

Cutliffe is a hell of a coach. If he were younger, damn right I'd take him.

Schiano did very well at Rutgers considering their history.

That said, Im also very glad we got Mullen. Yes I wanted Chip, who wouldnt but at the same time im glad we got a guy who has a history here and wants to be here. With Chip I wouldve been nervous everytime an NFL opening came up.

Chip would have been awesome here. We gave our best effort, just didn't come. Is what it is. Mullen is not a far step down. And is more of a sure thing than any other candidate.

Giants and Bengals will be looking for HCs, Chips name may come up and we all know he'll bolt first chance he gets soin the end Ill say it worked out for the best. Wouldve been fun watching that offense in the Swamp though.

Still got a good one.

I can't get over the weirdness of a former Ole Miss football player, playing for Dan now. That has never happened before.

WT at FSU with Jim and Mario wouldve been a Bit** to deal with, WT by himself is far from a problem imo

100%. He had a decent crew working around him and now he's got to start fresh at a school that, somehow, has a shorter leash than Florida. He didn't even have the chance to have his staff in place before the dead period.

Damn.

Van needed a rest. Got tired of passing game at Ole Miss.

Has his season-ending injury healed up?
