No. Davis met the full requirements as evidenced by his playing this fall. Anthony and Valentine didn't make the grades. Davis did.

I see. I remember there being questions about his eligibility, but I see now that he was cleared on September 7th. My bad. Anthony's issues weren't grades. Anthony started his high school career at Miller-McCoy but transferred to Edna Karr his senior year. Apparently his math portion of the ACT that he took during his senior year at Karr was a point short of the 19 he needed. But when he was at Miller-McCoy he had passed the math portion. They tried to use that score but because the school had shut down they couldn't verify that something uncouth had not happened while Andre was taking the test so they threw the score out. It was a huge cluster frick. Thankfully the kid is now fully qualified and practiced with the team before the bowl game.

That's good news for Anthony. He will be fun to watch next season. Looks like he has a little Barkevious Mingo in him.

See, I can carry on a perfectly normal (and hostile free) conversation when stupidity isn't involved.

I think Tim Williams is a more apt comparison IMO. Similar build, similar height, both are pure speed rushers. Williams was a little bigger coming out while Anthony has longer arms. I wouldn't compare him to Mingo due to the 4 inch height difference.

I just don't get how arguing that much can be fun. You're not gonna change the dudes mind, if anything you're only going to galvanize his beliefs. It would just piss me off. But if you enjoy it, you do you homie.

I thought Anthony was 6'4"?

He's only 6'1"?

6'2 or 6'3. Is Williams really only 6'1?

You said he was 4 inches shorter than Mingo. Isn't Mingo 6'5"?

As for Timmy Williams, I think he'll measure in around 6'3" at the combine.

I coulda sworn Mingo was 6'6, but according to his profile on NFL.com he's only 6'4. That's confusing as frick to me because I'm 6'6, I played him in basketball back in high school and we were the same height. This is a conspiracy man.

You think the story about the drug tests could affect his draft stock?

Those stories will be a non-factor come April. If they had dropped after the Combine and Pro Days then maybe they'd have an impact.

Timmy has months to prove them wrong.

I think it's bullshite propaganda put out there by a team trying to make him fall to them. I wouldn't doubt that he's failed drug tests but I highly doubt he's anything like Randy Gregory. Gregory is insane. Williams seems to have his shite together way more than Randy.

I'm not gonna lie, if these bullshite libels push Williams to the 2nd round where the Saints can grab him I'd be ecstatic.

That would be fricking incredible. You think he can play as a 4-3 OLB though?

Maybe. He's really improved against the run.

He'd be a terror coming off the edge on 3rd down.
