This isn't basketball where guys can play year round... reclassifying is fairly common. Cutting out a full year of playing live game action probably isn't a great idea. A season of HS then enrolling early seems like it would be better than not playing and/or running USCe team.
If he wasn't a college coach's son, Id say stay in high school.
