What do you expect him to say honestly?
Would you as a OM grad/fan not say the same about Ole Miss opposed to MSU. Just different of opinion.

It's nice seeing SOME MSU fans running around like the sky is falling, but deny it with every ounce of being they have. NSD will be EPIC.

as an OM grad/fan, yes....I would say the same.
But as a credentialed member of the "media", I would refrain from making such homeristic comments. Do you see Neal making any posts like that? Hell...Chuck is a blatant homer but I've never seen him say anything like that before.

I don't mind homerism but the sunshine pumpimg that happens on Gene's Page is just over the line and I'd feel sorry for thos poor sops on his site if they didn't eat it up and take it all as fact.
FWIW I don't have a problem with a "credentialed member of the "media"" being a fan of the program and letting that seep through a little ... I just want you to shoot be straight with what you are reporting. I know then in the end if it's good new your just as elated as me and when it's bad news your heart breaks just as much. The progression of this whole thing has been so hilarious - if I had not been following it I wouldn't believe you if you told me.
-state fans get a verbal from some no name
-they claim he is the 2nd coming, OM fans laugh in their face and mock them
-their boasting unwittingly puts this kid on the map

I guess if you call boasting All American and MS/Alabama games, then yes, you would be correct.
