You're telling me that CJ is 50 pounds bigger than this guy

Ok then back the my argument you don't put on weight during the football season. That pic was taken at the end of July right before his two a days. He didn't put on a pound since then. You just can't.
I won't argue that he put on during 2 a days. I just don't seeing a site throwing 270 on his page if they didn't weigh him.

Looks small to me but maybe we both have our biased glasses on. I'm 220 and my shoulders are wider than his are in that picture. I thought the picture with him flexing showed his frame better but showed small arms. I might have my goggles on but id bet my car he's not 270 and weighs around 250 in pads

Well rivals had gross at 6'3 270... After an entire summer with PJ, he shrunk to 6'1 245. The site are full of shite when it comes to measurements

I've heard anywhere from 250-270. Kid is big fast and strong. Glad he is a bulldog.
Yep

The second picture gives you a better look, he was 250 in shorts at big dawg, I can promise you those weights are correct. They measured him at 6,5 without shoes which is consistent with the 6'6 recruiting services list considering they are probably in shoes/cleats. I don't know how much he has put on since then but he looks to still be putting on some natural weight just judging by his frame and the pictures.
ETA: TBH I hope he is closer to 250, if he was 270 right now at that height I would be concerned about him packing on under Balis and having to move to DT.

Personally, I don't want him pulling a Fletcher and getting huge once he gets here. 270 is bigger than I want him to be. 260-265 sounds good to me. We need a freak rush end, not another freak DT...or someone that ends up being a tweener like Eulls is.

Y'all need to turn Eulls into a DT and let CJ and or Z. Smith play opposite Autry
Posted on 11/2/12 at 5:41 pm to Whereisomaha
If CJ can play right away that would be awesome but we have plenty of guys getting experience there this year also. I wish Eulls would drop a few or gain a few, either way we should be fine on the line for the foreseeable future. I would like to see us bring in some more nasty O-Linemen, we haven't been really physical there at every position since the 90's.

Ryan Brown IMO...
In limited snaps, he's looked like the best pass rusher on the whole team to me.
Got a ton of DL talent stockpiled...just need to see development and proper usage. This year, I haven't so far. Looking back, it has really been the least amount of improvement among a position group on our team from year to year, we've just been blessed with some incredibly talented players.

I think a lot of the pass rush issues are due to our LB packages. It's a lot easier to take care of the front 4 when you know they are all you are worried about, I would honestly like to see Wells blitzing more than he does. The kid is such an incredible athlete and I don't feel like we utilize him to the extent that we could. We tend to send Cam more than the rest which seems like the last player out of our main 5 LB's you would want to blitz. Like I was saying it isn't that you see QB's having all day to throw we just don't see many sacks, I think it's because we don't blitz enough but I'm not getting payed to be a DC.

Chris just made his first appearance in the espn 300 @ #164...the highest rated of 8 newcomers on the list. Expect this number to climb after the UA game...

I really believe that when Jones blows up in the MS/AL and UAAA games he will get that 5th star.
Do you think Merlin will be able to coach him down so yall can keep having nail biters with Troy?

Is this kid a lock to state? I just don't hear anyone else talk about him except for state fans.
