No, he wasn't.
He was the reason you won the title. JT would have been on his arse all night if he played.
If the guy playing gives you your best chance to win, he is the best QB on your team. Period.

A healthy JTD gave us our best chance to win a national title, but there was not a much of a drop off with his backup, so it’s splitting hairs.

He’s visiting West Virginia in early April and I would assume would make a decision soon after that
