I'll give you that I don't talk about classes being better simply based on point totals, even though our bet is in a way, but based on elite players (composite 4*s). So to me when you say this...
quote:

You get all those prospects -- you roughly equal our current class -- and that's assuming we don't close with who we expect to close with.

I assume that you mean it would take us getting 10 four star composites to equal what you're going to get, especially when you say you aren't counting on a few you believe you will have. WhT are you reading?

I simply pointed out that it's highly unlikely that OM is going to outrecruit MSU this year and even suggesting it is ridiculousness at this point. It's you boys that have your panties in a wad about it.

If I had spent all my time drinking the koolaid only to have an ongoing bitch slap back into reality, I'd probably be almost as rustled as you are..

No, you haven't. As recently as about April, you were going to clean sweep the state and bury us. The first couple of pages of your recruiting thread is incredibly heavy on the lulz.

yes we have. And the fact that you source our recruiting thread is incredibly heavy on the lulz.

Almost as stupid as the ban bet that's going to make you disappear from this place. And to think I had been feeling a bit of pity for you....

The bet started because you said state pushed out Linton and Johnson for better players. You have since added players with no offers to replace them. You still think what you said wasn't stupid? If so please list the players that you wouldn't have had room for if state had cared about keeping those two.

Well, you assume wrong. In fact, you just skew an assumption as far as you possibly can in a way that would present it as being outlandish. Instead of thinking, "well, this is Engie we're talking about - and if he's arguing this point, he's probably already played with the class calculator in order to back up what he's about to say."

Just like all that mattered about prospects were their number of BCS offers last year when your guys claimed a bunch more than ours. Yet that card has been conveniently forgotten this year.

Speaking of lulz.

You continuously exaggerate everything to make yourself feel better. You come off as a really miserable person.

Jamal Peters has no offers? Are you willing to bet that Linton is superior in any way to McLaurin? Exactly. He's not.

The only player we added with "no offers" is the one that is going to secure a clean sweep in south MS for us, Javon Patterson notwithstanding. Since Dontea is growing into a TE -- I can easily argue that Johnson's spot actually went to him. And we were recruiting him early as a LB -- so I could also argue that his spot went to any of a littany of defensive guys.

The point of that thread was simply to "do as you do" -- in alleging that you didn't actually want every single player that chooses MSU. And you've taken the bait so deeply that your jimmies are still rustled about it and it's highly likely to cost you your ability to post here. So, it seems like a double win to me.

I didn't and never have argued that we pulled their offers. Not in any seriousness. I argued that we didn't even try to hold them -- and that part is proving and has proven itself true. If you claim that we saw some kind of actual, tangible mean loss to our class with those two leaving, that's just you being a homer.

You come off pretty miserable yourself. So, thanks.

Once again this seems to be a confusing is what we deem to be better recruiting classes. For future reference I go by elite player (composite 4*s). You apparently go by point total.

On your BCS offer point, to me that's where Msu has made the most strides this year. You get instate 4*s, some years more than others, but your lower and mid ranked guys in the past were not wanted by anyone else, this year they are. The middle of your class is what impresses me the most compared to previous state classes. No matter if we flip Tommy and end up with Fletxh and Leo (just hypothetical) I think this is Mullen's most impressive recruiting job because he's getting quality OOS kids.

Engie... I asked you to list the players you wouldn't have had room for if you didn't push them out. You obviously would have had room for Peters and McLaurin. And Linton is faster than him, there's one area he's "superior" Both our staffs offered Linton first so, they thought he was "superior" too. Both are good players. McLaurin would be a perfect husky for us and we still like him very much

Engie doesn't think like this. The only thing he can think about is comparing to Ole Miss. Little brother syndrome at its finest.

We just flipped a Bama commit and engie losses his shite over it. Then he comes into this thread and to remind us of his inherent little dick syndrome.

This was your first lost when they flipped...
