Now do the ones that were on TV that everyone talks about.

The two games I mentioned above were both against 2A schools with the same enrollment as Newman.

If your team is still in the hunt for him, he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If your team is out of the race for him, he is way overrated.

We are not going hard after Manning. He is an LSU fan but for some reason Manning family never attends LSU.

LSU coaches going to his basketball game doesn’t indicate that at all, but ok. The coaches could end up seeing he’s not going to LSU and move on, but the staff is obviously interested in the dude

Once upon a time there was a qb like Arch. Every tool you look for in a qb at the time. Consensus number 1 player/qb and everyone wanted him. His name is Chris Simms.

That was supposed to be funny. Sorry I didn't make it more clear.

Many times on the board you will find fans praise a kids ability and then when they don't show up in his Top 4, he is criticized by the same fans. It was not aimed at anybody as it seems to cross all fan lines.

LSU and Florida also made the trip.

The truth is that you or any LSU fan don’t know LSU’s QB board. BK has been there for like a month. And LSU has offered a few since BK took over. But sending coaches to his basketball game obviously indicates they are recruiting him. Coaches don’t waste their time on people they aren’t recruiting

I try not to troll at all, unless trolled first. I don't go looking for trouble.

However, sometimes I do give an honest opinion that might not sit well with some people, but is not meant as a troll.

I definitely do not troll on the recruiting board, though...at all. I understand where you are coming from, though. Too many trolls do tend to bleed over onto this board, so no harm, no foul.

I think he's a top 50 borderline 5 star guy right now. Getting a big bump from his name. However, because of his name, theres more confidence that he will develop and progress throughout college. Anyone saying they wouldnt take him is silly. Not hard at all to imagine M. Nelson being the better QB though.

Ok they went to a basketball game. We know where we stand with Manning. Believe what you want Manning will never go to LSU and compete with Howard!

Seen him play several times and I’ve seen Walker Howard play. Howard is better by a good bit. Manning should be a top 100 player, but he is not as good as any of the other Manning qbs that came before him.

Just my opinion not a troll attempt; if his last name was Smith, he would be a middle four star looking at middle to lower Big 12 or B1G program. Just my two cents.

It’s funny to me y’all think all these coaches recruiting him are doing it because of his last name. Is there an argument his rating is because of his potential? Yeah, I can see that as he still has a lot of work to do, but coaches don’t go by recruiting rankings. They don’t go by last names.

Nah. Coaches like Saban, Kelly, Kiffin, etc. don't have shite on Beau from Chalmette who has a TD.com account.
