As for Hootie, it would hurt to lose him, that said I believe Voorhies is greatly underrated as a S. He has TE size and DB cover skills. I still say LSU since Hootie has kept it close to the best from the start. Both sides are guessing based off second hand sources.

I'm curious as to why so many on the LSURb revere every word Memphis says to be true. Did he correctly predict someone to LSU out of the blue and it turned out to be correct?
Wasn't the porn deal related to Harris getting a LSU offer? IIRC he said Harris would never get an offer and when he did Memphis posted porn.

I don't know their history (im new to the RB), and I'll admit when I first came over to the board, it seemed like they were all insiders, but recently I've realized that most people spout of their gut feeling and attribute it to "sources", yet when you ask them about it they stay quiet, or backchannel to others who are "in the know". Simply put, no source, no believe.

You'd be surprised how many "insiders" get their information from the 247 network.
I've never claimed to be an insider and unless one of my kids becomes a D-1 prospect in about 10 years I never will be. However, I do have an AAVIP account with 247 that allows me to read any and all stories from every teams site.
If one can read between the lines it's not hard to decipher where kids are leaning.
I don't pass that info off as my own though. I think that's where the problem lies in this situation.

He does a good job keeping the LSUrb up to date with new offers and visits and such. I know I don't feel like digging through paysite subscription whoring to find all that out.
He went to school with a few players/recruits, and their opinions can be as wrong as anyone's. It's just another source to look at and decide for yourself what the facts are. I've never seen him proclaim to be all knowing, but it is on him for letting the board think he is. Like anyone else on TD just assume it's hearsay or paysite gossip and you'll never be misled.

He never said that, it's what I've gathered from the type of stuff he's been right about and way out in front of anyone else. I don't know the dude, he could be just guessing on all of it, but that's my opinion.
