I don't think he's OV'ing this weekend. Pretty sure he's visiting for the A&M game. Also, the next weekend after the Furman game is the bye week. Sounds like BOL is playin with outdated info.

Which only supports the line of thought that Hootie is leaning toward Bama. Before that he said he would maybe try to OV for the Furman game during that interview.

Obviously, Les and co saw that as a bad thing and convinced him and his mother to hold off and come to a meaningful home game OV in A&M.

If Hootie is truly desiring to go to Bama, I don't see this helping, just prolonging the inevitable.

I think the LSU side would have more clarity on when he's visiting LSU than Bama would.

I think BOL might have some outdated info on this one Bucc. Our insiders feel pretty confidant that he's now set up his OV for the A&M game, and I don't think it's just speculation. I don't have a subscript to 24/7, so I can't tell you what exactly Sonny said, but a poster on the RB who is signed up said he confirmed that he pushed his date back with the express purpose of visiting for the A&M game. Don't know if he plans to make it to BR this weekend or not.

This one is going to come down to mama. From the beginning Hootie has talked about being a mama's boy and how his mama is going to have to approve the college he chooses to attend. She seems to want to keep him instate. This one could play out similar to Jameriu Rasco's recruitment from a few years ago. We all thought he was gone for the majority of the year, but ultimately mama won out in the end, and he stayed in state.

He seems to want Bama & needs to convince Mom & she'll get her chance to convince him as well, so it makes sense that the reason they would push it back was to reschedule the OV because let's face it the Furman game isn't the best game to come for...and also factor in how bad LSU needs Hootie & it makes sense
