Recruiting site rankings are largely based on camp evals. So if a kid did a 24/7 camp but didn't do a Rivals camp for instance, then their evals will be different.

It’s more than that. It’s when they tank ratings for players right after they announce their decisions. Jacoby leaning A&M gets his composite pushed to a 4 star from a 5. Dindly getting moved down. Same as Evan Stewart. Burton is a POS. Wish he read this site.
