I just checked my phone, the NIL donation just came out of my account. There is a push to get Drink whatever QB he needs. Actually the numbers being thrown out there aren't crazy. Matteen will be popular and his number is 1 million. Not that bad for an experienced QB. QBs with issues like Arnold, and Weigman will probably land in the 500k range. Ewers and the Tulane QB will be top end.

I think we have plenty for a QB.

Honestly I would bet we have been banking QB money. I'm sure Cook got paid a lot, but I bet we could multiply that salary( just gonna call it that idc if its "Wrong" lol") for the right guy.

We honestly probably could've tried to get a better QB than Cook in the portal one of these years, but that would have been risky af, due to having to 2x or 3x the salary to definitely bring in someone better.

Overall better for the program, and better for the team to see that the admin is going to be loyal to players, and no real guarantee that bringing someone else in would do any better (and that last part is for sure hindsight, I just dont want retards like 808 trying to twist what I say)
