Sanders doesn’t do it for me. His tape he looks to be slow. Is this a down year for running backs? Maybe I am way off. I feel like he’s probably a good all around back but not a nfl elite back. Najee looks so much better imo he’s more a lot more agile.

QB questionable? Nah I think your post doesn't provide much insite to LSUs recruiting. Two top 10 QBs in 2017. A top 10 transfer in 2018, a top 10 QB in 2019 and 2 top 10 QBs already committed for 2020.

"We comin"
No one is near bama not even GA. Remember Bama beat GA with their back up QB. LSU needs to develop an OL they have on roster, finish this class with a couple more top 10 DLman and keep it up next class and we'll be competing with Bama again. Simple as that. Just keep plugging away. Bama has a huge lead on everyone not just LSU and Miles let that happen not the current staff. The current staff is playing catch up and doing a pretty good job IMO. We just didn't have the depth or the star power to make it happen this year. Next year should be a better game between the two teams. Chassion was hurt and we lost our best TE, didn't have much help at RB, QB was brandnew to the SEC and team and we lost a starter at LB and OG. Two projected starters who would have helped tremendously. But if we keep stacking this type of depth then it won't hurt us as much in the future if these things occur. Right now it hurts LSU big time.

I’m obviously biased but Emery and Davis are the best duo I’ve seen coming out of high school to LSU

It is supposed to be a down year for RB's, but Sanders is legit. As for his speed, a better indicator is to watch and see if he gets caught from behind, or does he pull away from chasers. he typically pulls away. Another indication is to see who he plays against...the competition. IMG plays against some of the best teams in the country. nationally ranked teams. That is who he built his stats against.

Not sure agility is a huge strength, but his forte is power and speed. He doesn't get out there and try to juke defenders, he either runs away from them or runs over then, and he does both at an elite level. In some ways he reminds me a little of Nick Chubb. A lot of power and hard to bring down.

Twice. But you should also remember that the first backup QB (Tua) became a Heisman candidate the next year, and the second backup (Hurts) was the SEC POY his sophomore year, so it is not like they had no talent. People love the "backup QB" narrative to troll Georgia, but between those two QBs the Tide has lost 2 games in the last 3 years.

Not saying you are trolling Georgia, just that the backup QB narrative should have an asterisk beside it.

He’s legit,no doubt but I would not trade LSUs RB haul for him.Don’t be surprised if the one with the least amount of press turns into a household name

I don't think there is any question of that. If they work hard and develop they will win a lot of games for LSU. I would have loved to have had either one of them.

I agree. It has happened twice with georgia. Marshall was heralded more than Gurley and Michel was heralded more than Chubb coming out of High School.

I was not disrespecting Davis and Emery at all, merely saying that Sanders is a legit back.

Personally, I would not be surprised if Tyrion Davis turned out to be the best of the three, although I really like Emery, too.

He (Holyfield) runs hard, but Chubb was different. For whatever reason, people just seemed to fall off of him after hitting him. he broke tons of tackles. Holyfield runs harder, I think and punishes tacklers, but they tend to stick with him a bit more. Holyfield is great, and since we missed on Sanders, I am hoping Holyfield stays. Rumor now is he is staying, but I am not sure he is.

Hard to say. There is a ton of talent, but Zamir White has torn his ACL in each knee, and we are hopining he recovers fully and is not injury prone.

Swift will certainly leave next year, and if Holyfield stays this year he will graduate next year, so we could be down 3 RB's after next season. Nope....4. We think Herrien leaves this year, too.

So, after next year we could have James Cook, and thta's about it other than McIntosh, and we don't know what we have in him. A big powerful back, probably. We will have to bring in two big time backs next year.
