Must have been someone else. I've never said DeBoer couldn't recruit. In fact, I've always said he would be fine. Not as good as Saban (who is?) but he will do well. Even in this thread, I said that if he were not a good recruiter your class would not be as strong as it is.

Not at all. I have always admired what Saban (and the Bear) has done at Alabama. I wish Georgia had the history that Alabama has had. I'm glad Saban has finally retired, and hopefully we will do well like 2021 and 2022 and going forward.

Ftr? Tide Saint is just tugging me along to see how long he can keep me posting. But...that's also exactly what I am doing to him. Eventually one of us will lose interest, or not come on the board for awhile and the other one can puff out his chest and claim a "victory".

1. Show me where i have said DeBoer is not a good recruiter.
2. Tell me how I've pivoted to the future. I honestly don't know what you are talking about and would like to address it...maybe clarify what I said...or what you think I said.

If somebody was talking about average player ratings they are crazy. Alabama has a 94.11 rating right now. It might come down. It's hard to maintain that high of a rating...but it willl still be one of the best, I would think.
There is another Georgia poster with a name similar to mine...Dawg47Life...or Dawgslife47 or something like that. He does a little trolling. Maybe you are thinking of him? I am honestly at a loss.

I'll even make an offer to you. If you can point to me the thread the posts are in I will go and look for myself.

Not at all. Go back and read myt posts. The only thing I have taken issue with is when phaz said that Alabama had not missed on any recruits from Alabama that Alabama has wanted. But, if you go through my post history, you will see that I have always said that DeBoer would be a good coach (Not as good as Saban, but still a really good replacement). I have never said anything negative about Alabama recruiting (that I can remember). I don't think it wild or unreasonable to say that every team in the country loses recruits they want. Yes. I have even said it about Georgia. So, if you think I have been negative about Alabama, then I have been just as negative about Georgia.

Anyway...thanks for coming back and admitting that you were mistaken. I know how irritating it can be when other fans are trolling and talking about your favorite team.

I agree. And i d just think honestly, that phaz just said that out of frustration at people attacking DeBoer and Alabama. I should have just passed it off as hyperbole and not commented, but...well...I didn't, so I have to bare some of the blame for this thread going off the rails.

I had to take some time off from this site for awhile because i found myself being drawn into pointless debates when people took outlandish shots at Georgia, so I get why Alabama fans are frustrated. On the other hand, it is also a testament of how good Alabama has been the past 15 years or so that people are taking shots like that.

Anyway. Thanks again for coming back. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change now that Texas and Oklahoma has joined the SEC. Should make for some interesting match ups.
