re: 9pm update: Razorbacks pick up 5 commitments in 3 days

I'm thrilled A&M is #1 for 2015 but it doesn't mean much right now. Just way too small of a sample size and too many big names not even close to pulling the trigger. The real key is how many 4 and 5 Stars you are collecting at this point, not the ranking itself. It's like sprinting out to a lead in Mile 3 of a Marathon.

As for Arky, glad you are getting some guys committed but it should be a concern to take too many 2 Stars. Some do end up being great but there is a reason they are 2 Stars as well, the odds are against them. It's even tougher in the SEC West where you will have 4 other programs that should be solidly in the Top 10 and Ole Miss isn't far behind. While it certainly isn't a given, it's hard for a team of 2 and 3 Stars to beat teams of 4 and 5 Stars on a regular basis.

We only have one 2* if you are using the composite rankings and that guy has only been playing football for a year and a half. He had offers from State and Michigan St as well. Two schools that have had some pretty salty DL's recently. He's a project for sure but there is plenty of upside for a kid that just started playing the game.

Don't you people know anything. Bert will coach them up to be world beaters. Just give him another 3-5 years and we should be .500. Stars don't matter when your not getting them. If you listen we have the greatest staff ever on the hill.
