Also a quote from SlowEasyConfident, this time regarding Salyer:

Salyer confused everyone when he was quoted as saying " he wants to play for a school that can win a national title"

You should've realized Clemson was out of it when he said he didn't want to play for a coach that's a waterhead.

Henry coming to Clemson to play with Xavier Thomas.

And Clemson will win their 3rd title before Georgia wins their 2nd

UGA does not have two titles.

Don't even say '42 or '46.

Clemson men were out fighting for freedom during this era. No time for football

Had this conversation with a Georgia and Florida fan the other day on here. He pulled up a picture of one of the old coaches sitting in front of UGA's stadium, with a big sign behind him that listed all conference championships and all national championship.

National championship had one from 1980. Conference championships went all the way back to the 40's, but no mention of a title from back then.

I know it was probably a memorable game and you were probably there, but it seems like the only Georgia fans that claim that championship are the ones that are too embarrassed that y'all only have one national title

UGA started claiming it in the 80's.

Why? The real record books don't change.
