Lunney ended up getting the OC job at UTSA once Traylor was hired there as head coach so he probably would have left on his own even if Pittman wanted to keep him. Lunney was pretty disappointed he didn't get the Arkansas job and probably realized he needed to work his way up through the ranks at a lower level if he wanted to improve his chances at it down the line.

I keep an eye on your recruiting board since we recruit a lot of the same players. I know he is one that you guys were wanting. Congrats on the pickup!
