Actually a 2 game lead, 11-9. The turn of the century started on Jan. 1, 2001.

And for anybody who thought Bama wasn’t gonna finish in the Top 5 in recruiting is an idiot. Bama ain’t going down no time soon. I hate y’all but respect y’all at the same time.

Nick Saban Winner On Both Sides In Alabama-LSU Series (247Sports)
quote:

Unquestionably, the Alabama-LSU series has changed over the years. The biggest thing ever for the Tigers was landing Nick Saban as head coach. His LSU teams were 4-1 against Alabama and the players he recruited put another couple of losses on the Tide. But for whatever reason, they couldn’t keep him and he ended up at Alabama, where he is preparing for his 14th season.

Saban at Alabama vs. LSU is 10-4 against LSU, one of those wins coming in the BCS national championship game in New Orleans...

I can’t imagine hating a team with every fiber of my being and beating them once a decade.

Lol y’all might keep beating everyone else yearly but you aren’t rattling off a streak like that against LSU again. Hell, we easily could have won games in 2008, 2012 and 2014 running a prehistoric offense.

Pretty sure I heard the same stuff from LSU fans around 2011 too.

That wasn't even the longest streak that Bama has against LSU.

Bear Bryant had an 11 year win streak with 6 of the wins in Tiger stadium.

Instead of 8 in a row it might be more like 5 or 6 in a row

Maybe more like 1 or 2 in a row. You’ll see soon enough.

Nah see we have actually beat Bama and have won lots of big games during the modern era of college football. UGA has done neither.

Hmm, UGA has more than one win against Bama in our last 9 vs them. How embarrassing for you.

Well considering the fact that you play them about once every 3 or 4 years I would hope so because that would mean you were losing to Shula and Dubose. I know that when you’ve played them recently, it hasn’t been good. You’ve at least played them closer than you play LSU.
