Amari Kight, a 4-star tackle from Thompson High School (Alabaster, Ala.), has committed to the Crimson Tide. Kight released his top 10 schools at the end of March, but this recruitment had been trending Alabama’s way for several months now. Kight’s other nine schools that made the cut were Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

The nation’s No. 8 tackle has been a lifelong Alabama fan and has made numerous trips to Tuscaloosa since he became a national recruit. Thompson coach Mark Freeman told SEC Country what kind of player the Tide are getting in his star offensive lineman.
