So you are pretty much wrong. Mike Williams was the 35th ranked WR in his class and just went #7 overall in the draft. Coaching and development second to none
You missed the reference to QB recruiting as well. Watson was excellent at throwing receivers open. It can make average WR's look above-average.

Tahj Boyd was no Watson, but he was a damn fantastic college QB. So, my point stands.

Adam Humphries 2*
Jaron Brown 3*
Nuk Hopkins 4*
Martavis Bryant 4*
All in the league. Renfrow is a walk on and will get a shot in the league
Only 5*'s have been Sammy, Deon Cain and now Tee Higgins

Who is Adam Humphries? What did Jaron Brown amount to?
Nuke, Bryant, Sammy, Cain, Williams are all blue chip dudes.....don't take the 5* term so literal. If a guy is a top 100 player, he's blue-chip. Renfrow MAY get a shot in the league, but he's nothing special. He's far from the other guys I mentioned.
CU can develop just fine, but recruiting and QB play is 95.74% of it.

Again, Williams was the 35th ranked receiver in his class. Humpries was 2* and now he is in the league. Jaron was 3 and he's in the league. It's not like all the guys were 5 stars. Nuk and martavis were local guys and were not rated highly enough to be considered "blue chips". Nuk was the 212 overall prospect in the country. I can't even find martavis rating but it was around that
