Doty is a goner if Clemson gives him a legit qb offer...this is dak 2.0

You know all these coaches use a little negative publicity whenever they can. If Joyner doesn't get to play QB, that's just another bullet in every other coaches gun.

If Clemson doesn't get Uiagalelei for '20, I would guess they'd turn up the heat for Doty. Hard to turn down a childhood dream.

While that is definitely true, I don't think it'll happen in this case. The only reason I say that is bc I saw an interview that one of the local Myrtle Beach stations did with him a day ago and what he had to say was pretty interesting.

He alluded to being a legacy at Clemson and basically said that both he and his family were snubbed and if he is offered, the snub will be returned. They mad.

ETA: edited bc I was typing in a form of English that looked like I'm hammered at the moment.

I would think...no...I know...the best QB is going to be the one to start and then they will fall in line after that. If Joyner is the best...he will start. I never understand why people would think otherwise.

You misunderstood me; I believe the same thing.

My point is that no one thought Joyner was going to play QB in college. Y'all and I believe VA Tech were the only ones offering at QB. Muschamp had a pretty good idea he'd be switching positions from the start.
