Hmmm I did not know that. Well in that case it sucks that Ole Miss has a bunch of QB's and couldn't win an SEC game last year and has no talent.

Agreed except for the "no talent" part. They were just extremely under-developed and under-coached.

But as far as us having "a bunch of QB's"......that's also false in regards to a QB recruit of this year.

Mackey and Stoudt are seniors and one of which may or may not make it to Fall.

Brunetti is a Junior and is my early favorite to win the starting job.

We're signing Bo Wallace who actually signed for Freeze at ASU before going Juco and knows his system. He'll have 4 years to play 3.

Last year's greyshirt Makhail Miller looks to be moving to TE....so that's one less QB.

So going into the 2013 season, we'll have one Senior and one Junior at QB(unless we give Bo a RS this season). CJ Beathard is being recruited out of HS right now but only because Freeze is honoring his commitment under Nutt. But CJ just visited Iowa and may change his commitment. That would work out for both as I don't think he'll ever really see much time at QB here.

and fwiw.....Freeze's leading rusher last season at ASU was his QB.

He is one of those kids that if he ever stops playing sports year round, he is going to blow the frick up.

and being in a college weight program should keep him around 285- but tone him up even more

He is going to be a force whether its QB or DE

I see Duece McAllister quite a bit around town and he looks more like a former DT than former RB.

FWIW I think this kid would be PERFECT for Mullen's offense. Sucks that Mullen's offense is in Starkville Mississippi

Good thing we already have someone that's perfect for his offense.

He's definitely not fat but I guarantee you he can't run a legit 4.6. What was Relf's time coming out of high school? They look similar in speed on tape.

I'm OK with going to LSU but it really doesn't make much sense for a QB of his type to go there over systems like OM and MSU run.

it is...

Anytime you announce at one of the more popular places in town for the local teams arch-rival, it'll ruffle quite a few feathers.
