He spent an entire week on the Hill a while back. It is my understanding that he knew the reason Arkansas was not offering him earlier. The staff have maintained a good relationship with him throughout all of this. Once he proved to them his study commitment, then an offer was extended.
Also, he still has a week to decide where he wants to take his last OV of the year.

Kind of strange situation with Mr. Daniels.
He really doesn't have to OV at Ark. He knows the place very well.
I think our chances are as good as anyone's. Hope we get him.

He's been to Arkansas numerous times. Really no point in making an official now
