MIAMI, Fla. – Miami Central four-star athlete Yulkeith Brown was named offensive MVP of the Florida-Georgia Game on Sunday. The Texas A&M signee caught four passes for roughly 66 yards in a losing effort. He also carried the ball once for a two yards and drew a pair of pass interference penalties
While the stats might not have been all that impressive for Brown, he proved to be the top offensive weapon over the course of four quarters as he ran free through the middle of Georgia's defense time after time. The play of the day for Brown came in the first half when he went up and over Illinois three-star athlete signee Prince Green to make an acrobatic 32-yard catch catch down the sidelines. Brown did nearly the same thing a few drives later when he got behind Indiana three-star safety signee Jordan Grier, but that gain of over 40 yards was called back due to a holding penalty.
Brown, who the industry-generated 247Sports Composite currently ranks as the nation's No. 20 athlete this cycle, has told 247Sports in the past that he thinks he will play offense when he arrives in College Station, but that doesn't mean he won't eventually get a look on the defensive side of the ball
