You think we'll take 2 rb's? We seem to have alot of interest from 4 or 5 of the top ones. I just can't see us turning down a second commit. Wilkins, Dye, Green, and Bryant are all studs and I'd be happy with any

I think we're gonna recruit those 4 only, and if two of them want to commit, we'll take both. But if we only get one, we won't pursue other backs

Article on 2014 linebacker, and teammate of Jeremy JOhnson, Shaun Dion Hamilton...

Auburn and Florida State on top for 2014 linebacker...

quote:

"Florida State went really well, I enjoyed visiting there. I was with coach (Dameyune) Craig most of the time, we sat down and talked, I saw the facilities and they were really nice. Coach (Jimbo) Fisher is a really nice guy and I liked talking to him," Hamilton said.

quote:

"My visit to Auburn went real well. I got to sit down with coach 'Thig' and we drew up some schemes for me and I saw that their scheme is similar to what we do in high school. If I went to Auburn, it wouldn't be that big of adjustment for me. I always enjoy being around the coaches at Auburn. Coach 'Thig' is a great guy off the field, but when he's on the field he gets after you. I could see him coaching me for four years."

quote:

Helping Auburn will be 2013 quarterback commit Jeremy Johnson, who committed to Auburn earlier in June. Hamilton admits having a teammate, especially a teammate he looks up to, committed to the Tigers will only help their chances.

"That's a big impact because we grew up together, we're good friends, and I always said I would love to go to college with one of my friends," said Hamilton. "With him going to college and us being only 45 minutes down the road, it can't get better than that."

He already has offers from FSU, Auburn, Clemson, Arky State, Miami, Memphis, Ole Miss, South Alabama, and Tennessee.

Will definitely be a top linebacker in Alabama and the nation.

1. Green
2a. Wilkins
2b. Bryant
2c. Dye

Edit: I just watched Dye's highlights. He might be my favorite now.

Green is my favorite, but you absolutely, positively can not go wrong with any out of those 4!

Tyshon Dye said in a recent article that Clemson and Auburn are his top 2. He and his mom both loved his latest trip to Clemson, but he wants to take his mom to Auburn before making any decisions.
if Dye committed to Clemson, with Gallman already committed, I think that'd help us a lot with Derrick Green. Green has been favoring Clemson, with OSU and PSU as other schools of interest too

1. Green- he's good, but doesnt break as many tackles as he should for a guy his size and strength.vision is ok
2a- Wilkins- plays in Tennessee..talents he's playing against is questionable
2b. Bryant- he can do it all break tackles, great vision, not a burner but has enough speed to break one every now and then
2c. Dye- plays in a GT type offense..I think he is extremely overrated.. the offense he plays in boosts his stats.. his film is good though..great vision and decent speed

I can't judge them by highlight tapes so I'm going with Dye based solely on his last name.

1) Green
2) Bryant
3a) Wilkins
3b) Dye

Wilkins is in the bag, so we're just waiting on someone else now...

I agree, I think Wilkins is done. It seems to me that Dye is favoring us too, IMO. Green seems to be the consensus top back by recruiting sites, but after than the others are all over the place. I don't know any of their stats, but Dye's film looked really impressive. But then again so did Wilkins, although I think it was inferior talent. Bryant just looks like he'll be a man-child at the next level, which I love.

Honestly Dye is the best one out of the 4 IMO, the only problem is he will be Juco because of his grades.

Yeah, I was not OK with that, but then I saw this:

I would bet that Hamilton won't believe any of the Craig BS he tells him about AU since he's from around this area already. I'm not worried about this one.
