A little worried about DGBs adoptive parents being Mizzou grads...and his HS offensive coordinator is a Mizzou fan

It's great really. The time I went they had little pigs doing hurdles and stuff. Had an amazing time.

DGB's BBall team lost 44-43 on a half-court buzzer beater.

Yeah but where's the Dixie Stampede in town? I just was there seeing my customer at Chateau and took the high road there.

Surely there's a brochure stand for that.

I think it's on the main drag, complete with enormous lighted signage.

It's a big white building near the beginning of the strip. Dolly Parton's place with the horses.

I have to start going down there regularly for work so I'm going to have to check that out for sure. I want to see some hurdling pigs.

At this point I would be shocked if he went somewhere other than Arkansas.

He will start for a top 10 ten with a Heisman contender at QB.

We are putting 3 WR in the NFL this year.

90 minutes from home.

and we don't have an "A" made out of rocks at our stadium.

You've never been to the Dixie stampede?

Nope. Hell I even grew up in NWA and never went to Branson until college when I dated a girl from there briefly.

Oh, and btw, contrary to the Missouri news paper report that it is down to Mizzou-Arkansas, John Beckham said all five schools are still under consideration.

JC Shurburtt said today on the radio that Texas is still 2nd behind Arkansas, not Mizzou.

He seems whipped, is she going to Arkansas?

No, DGB's girlfriend is likely headed to UMKC to play basketball. Other schools she has been recruited by are Avila, and William & Jewell. Both are in the KC area.

It wasn't first reported by a Missouri newspaper.

And JC Shurburtt is an idiot.

You should be more than a little worried.

I really don't get it, sure he is a great player but I'm not letting any high school kid worry me. He'll either go to Arkansas or not, either way it will not have a significant impact on my life one way or the other.

Why should we be worried? Without DGB we have a top 12 class on scout. We've met all our needs. The future of our program does not hang in the balance with one player.

Having said that, DGB will be a Hog.
