I remember Bielema loved this guy as an OLB in high school but IIRC he decommitted because he wanted to play WR.

Yeah, I had read that he was previously committed to Arkansas and was wondering the story

"Decommitted" I mean it was because of his preferred position not a straight flip, but he flipped to LA Tech.
Does anyone know if he went JUCO because of grades or was it to cultivate better places to play at WR?

He lied on some coaches a La Tech and has apologized for it. That's all I know.

How is the #1 JUCO ATH barely a 3*? Is he not rated on some sites and that’s what’s dragging his rating down?

Because he’s the #47 JUCO overall, and they’re graded on a lower scale to begin with
