Auburn is 10-50 in Coleman, slick. You’re the football version of Ole Miss in Bryant Denny or LSU in Tiger stadium. I understand ragging on the arena is the cool new barner thing to do because y’all built a new one, but how about win a fricking game in the dump every once in a while if you’re going to shite on it

We're going to hear all year from Auburn's basketball circa 2017 fans about misappropriated stats and fairy tales of yesteryear.

They knew they lucked out with UT having two of their better players out and counted it as W. Coleman is a beautiful building. They don’t need anything new. Leave it as is, please.

I see the “Auburn fans don’t know bball” schtick is still alive and well. That’s all opposing fans have used the last 5 years or so. Growing up in Bham around a lot of Bama fans, I knew more about their bball team than they did. Bama fans never gave much of a damn about bball even with a pretty good history and successful teams. Very funny to the same fans on Twitter go after Auburn fans. Y’all will just continue to keep echoing whatever lame trash Hunter L Johnson tweets out.

I went to almost every home game under Barbee and a lot under Lebo, so don’t come at me.

Maybe in that particular case with your friends they didn't follow basketball like that. To blatantly say a majority of Alabama fans don't care for basketball or are not knowledgeable is hilarious.

Since record have been kept Alabama has more official home capacity sell outs than Auburn.

Alabama just lacks a deep post season run similar Auburn's recent Final 4 or LSU early 2000s or Arkansas one 25+ years ago.

Only Kentucky has more SEC wins than Alabama.

Alabama Football has and will always over shadow Alabama Basketball.

I know a handful of Bama fans that follow bball not matter how good they are. Majority are pretty bandwagon. like a lot of Auburn fans. Bama fans sticking their nose up at AU bball fans is hilarious. In reality, they are about the same.

Bruh? There are a lot more Bama basketball fans than Auburn basketball fans. There is an entire state out there and perhaps it never occured that your experience is too small of a sample size for the conclusion you came up with .

Bama’s history is of course better than Auburn’s, which kind of makes my point. Bama should be light years ahead of Auburn in facilities and fan experience, but they are playing catch up to Auburn who is relatively new money. I’m sure Bama football success affects it.

Not anymore. Unless you can reconvert those UK and Duke bammers who were prevalent in the 90s and 2000s.

Dude, there are a lot more Bama fans than Auburn fans in this state, like 3 to 1. That applies to basketball fans too.

We sure do hear plenty about Bama’s stats under Wimp for you to be pointing fingers.

At least we are both relevant now.

I can at least say I was still here during the Barbee-Lebo years.

A LOT more bball fans? Probably more but it’s not by “ a lot.” 3-1 Bama football to Auburn football for sure.

There is nothing special about Coleman or their fans.

There is nothing special about Auburn fans either. Auburn’s arena was at least built to provide home court advantage.

I can imagine I’ve been to many more Bama games in Coleman than most Bama fans has as well

Oats would rather be paid than have a new gym. Has already said that Coleman was fine. That said, a new one is coming. Coleman is nice enough but for some reason they designed it to be a theater experience. The floor is bright but you need a flashlight to find your seat. I hope the new one has lights. And I hope they keep it at least 13-14 thousand occupancy. These little high school gyms are good enough for The Pearlites but won’t cut it in Tuscaloosa.

Reality???... Auburn fans are no different from Alabama fans in regards to basketball. OP made a thread about about our Arena which we know isn't up to par with some newer venues. OP probably hasn't stepped foot on Auburn's campus but this is his 3rd thread about Coleman this season. So if we build a New Arena will be copying Auburn right?

Is the fact that Alabama beat Auburn 3 of 4 games last year relevant?

Auburn has a more passionate and rabid b-ball fanbase and I’m not sure it’s close. I know TONS of auburn fans that have away game tickets to different sec venues already due to being a cheaper weekend trip vs. home game tickets.

The basketball culture is different and I realized how far behind it is in Tuscaloosa in January 2020.

This is a good point. AU bball fans travel better than any other SEC school outside of Kentucky. I’ve been to Starkville and Athens where AU fans came close to outnumbering the home team. Hell we had a tiger walk at the team hotel for the St Louis game.
