Nope. The LSU talking point will be, "The SEC office stole the Bama game from us with the White suspension. After that, the team had nothing to play for."

Oh no, trust me. They wanted Jimbo for 2 years and the AD went low for Coach O. Now Jimbo is on a rival team. Thats like a dbl FU if they lose to that combo

There are over a million owners of Alabama-built Mercedes and thousands of rocket engineers in Huntsville (among highest engineers per capita in the US) who would disagree. You have Bourbon Street, Shreveport, Swamp People and David Duke.

LA and Alabama are in a similar place as it relates to education and poverty. The main difference between the two states is, one has culture, and the other doesn't have a unique culture that distinguishes it from the rest of the South. And people come from all over the world every year to experience it. Again, the only thing Alabama has is that it does a good job of utilizing athletes whose grandparents were treated like second class citizens in the same state 50 years ago.

Oh wow, a Mercedes plant!

How come GDP per capita in LA is so much higher than in Alabama?

This statistic would mean more if you could:

1.) Provide a link. I’m honestly certain you can and I have no reason to doubt you, regardless of the fact that your response also includes needless ad hominem attacks as well. No offense taken though.

2.) Explain or provide documentation on what % of the engineers in the Huntsville area actually hail from Alabama originally. My guess is that while there are a great many there, the reason is many were hired to work there-but are from out of town in reality-because of industry that landed there due to governmental contracts that had more to do with political clout and positioning than some sort’ve home grown engineering industry ala tech in places like Palo Alto or auto manufacturing ala Detroit.

This isn’t shot at relative levels of education or poverty, etc. Just curious about the context behind your statement is all.
