Well he can't be double ineligible if that's what you're saying.
I believe he is saying that the the investigation into who/why his grade was changed is still ongoing.

I don't get some alabama fans... why do they continue to make up rumors and get their own expectations up only to have them eventually be let down?... they've got the #1 team in america and two of the last three BCSNCs, but there's a whole cult following devoted to the downfall of auburn...
I don't get it.

No where in that article does it state that.

I believe there are several articles stating that they are still investigating why his grades were changed.

Apparently this shite just doesn't get old with you bama fans. Do you think these rumors are true? Just like with all the Cam rumors?
Scandals and NCAA infractions will never get old. That's just the way it is. They are always newsworthy and they will always be followed and popular. The fact that you guys are our rival certainly adds some spice to the news, but the popularity of these stories really shouldn't be that shocking, although I certainly can understand your and every other AU fan's frustration.
As someone who believes college football players should be payed, these types of things piss me off to no end. I would love for someone to get caught paying a player and just tell the NCAA to frick off. As for whether I believe rumors or not, is that question even important? Of course not, but I'll indulge you.
I've made my opinion on Cam situation known in the past. I absolutely believe that he was paid and have my reasons for believing it. This is pretty much the case with every single person that has ever discussed Cam Newton with me, including most of my Auburn friends and family. They all believe he got paid and they got away with it. Big deal. He was worthy every damn penny. If you do not believe it, you are in the minority.
This Robinson/Memphis stuff I have no opinion on really. I have neither read nor been told of anything nefarious going on with him or his grade change that involves Auburn from anyone I would consider reliable. Is it possible? Sure. But I really doubt it right now. I will say this, if AU was involved and someone from AU did pay that counselor to change his grade, this is 10x worse than just paying a player to come to your school. I hope for your sake and the rest of the AU fans out there this is just BS.

It's just the rumors going around the Bama circles.
They were right about everything in 2010.

Didnt see that either.
Remember last year all we heard was "the investigation is still ongoing, your going to get the sledgehammer". The Oct 2011 ruling said frick you.

It is mentioned in the OPs link written by PAt Forde where he states that teh NCAA has already ruled on his case.
so yes, I am assuming it is over, unless they rule him inelegible again.

Do you know how this rumor evolved? Robinson tweeted about being on a plane, rumors of Yahoo story, so by default robinson is working on the story and its about auburn
Yahoo told Forde to work on the MSU story since he is the noob and Robinson to work on Auburn since there is more dirt and he has seniority.

I'm not sure what is more fascinating. The scandal itself or the way rumors progress and transform as they make their way to Bama forums and then out. It's like a little machine. You put "Robinson about to get on a plane" into the Bama internet machine and you get out "He's in Memphis doing an expose on AU recruiting and 7 on 7's".

Oh ok so once they have ruled someone ineligible, they can't discover anything else? Did not realize that.
Posted on 9/12/12 at 3:05 pm to parkjas2001
He's ineligible.
The reasons behind him being ineligible are still under investigation.
We'll let you know when it's over.

I have never said the investigation was all about Robinson, or that he was the focus of the article. I've really only posted tweets and articles from people covering the story. You guys just live to shoot the messenger.
The investigation is still ongoing. That's what the article says, and that's what the reporter who broke the story continues to say. That's why Auburn won't comment, just like when there was an active investigation going on with Cam. I have no idea if anything will come of it. I'm just correcting you when you say that it is over; it's not.
