A lot of it has to deal with the quality of athletes they draw in. For example, Trent Richardson. Trent was swoll as hell before he got there
and while he might not have been as great as he was at Bama he probably could have gone to any program in the country and still have been a 1st-2nd round pick. I mean this guy
Is a 17 year-old currently committed to Bama. Not taking away from Bama's S&Cing program, but a lot of the players are swoll as hell before they get there.

The strength and conditioning between LSU and Bama are pretty much on par. The difference is the schemes each teams run. For instance 3-4 vs 4-3.
In a 4-3 you typically want to be faster on the edges (being that you only have 3 lbs). Now, the fact that you have 3 lbs, you want those guys to cover the middle better and not worry so much about the run or outside contain. If you have 4 lbs you have the luxury or spreading out the lb core and in turn are able to have bigger bodies in the middle.
Witha 3-4 you want nothing but beef on the line to close up lanes and let the 4 lbs do work. That gives the lbs the ability to be beefier even if they are a step slower, they have an extra man.
I don't think saban just flat out goes for bulk while miles goes for speed, but I think the conditioning for certian positions are simply different regimens.
Bama's Oline and dline are about the same aside for mingo and Montgomery (goes back to 3-4/4-3). The skill positions are about the same. The only noticeable difference in size is DE's and LB's. And as mentioned above, that plays into their schemes.

I come from a football family. Dad played at an elite college school (at the time). No names.

I agree with this dude. Bama, UGA, and UT all run 3-4 and all three are pretty big on the line and all three have pretty big LB's. As a whole, the conference has some big interior linemen and when the SEC steps OOC, you really can tell a difference.

Bama had Cody and now they have Jesse W.
6-6- 320 and benches 600. Wtf?
Does Saban have people scouting for these players, or do they have a mold and make them?

There is no photo or video evidence he benched 600 clean. I can push 350 with a tap.
