For beating the hell out of a defenseless woman laying on the ground gets a one game suspension? I liked Mississippi State until now my dad graduated from there but this is way worse than what Cam "biggie smells" Robinson and Pootie did!

At least he got more than Hill, Mills and Demond..........
It's fun to watch each Fanbase swap their way of thinking based on if an event happens to their team or another team.............saw some MSU folks gloating about Simmons, even wishing he didn't get any suspension, yet had this happened to AJ Brown, they would have wanted him purged off the face of the earth.
Have to say, I appreciate the few of you out there that stay the course with your morality when these things happen, and call it for what it is. #Respect

All coaches should cut the moral high ground BS and just say they get paid to win. Simmons will help State win. That's fine. Just don't hide behind this curtain of what's best for the kid that every coach uses.

Tunsil beats up his wife beating stepdad- half a season suspension
Simmons beats up a defenseless woman- 1 game suspension.
Even if Tunsil was bribed, I'm certain a man of Simmons caliber was as well. I don't see any defense for him only serving a fraction of the time Tunsil did for what I think was an actual righteous act on Tunsil's part defending his mother. State should be ashamed of itself for this.

You have any idea the number of murdered spouses who never filed charges against their abusive husbands? I'd say it's more often than not. The lack of filed charges is no proof whatsoever. There's no reason to doubt Tunsil's stepfather beat his wife.
