Would Saban make a good SEC commissioner?

He is very outspoken about what policies he would like to see. Seems to be respected by all teams, coaches, politicians and the media.
Not sure he'd be interested in the job at this point.

Very few fanbases would want him as SEC commissioner. He cheated by purchasing players and stacking his roster - he tucked tail and quit when the playing field got leveled by NIL.

Hell no. Saban would be fine for the NCAA but he would not be good for the SEC. He would cause far too much friction between member schools.
I think he'd be outstanding in terms of ability but bias and politics rule him out.
