Found out earlier that the fiance of one of my former co-workers passed away this morning from a blood clot. What's worse is I saw her literally 24 hours before hand at the bar. Really shows you how quick things change.

No kidding. She made my night better when I told her about my ex from freshman/sophomore year getting engaged to the guy she started dating 2 weeks after we broke up.
Told me she had a bunch of single white womens who wanted to have sex with single white men and would introduce me. And now she's gone.
I still want to think it's kind of a bad joke.

Not shite really. Dealing with what I just mentioned, found out my gig on Tuesday is moved to 3 weeks from Tuesday. So trying to find some stuff between now and then if at all possible.

Time to add to the bummer of an IM thread, though I'm a newb so no one will read this.
Just found out that a friend back home finally lost her fight with leukemia. Can't afford to go home for the funeral, and my parents can't afford to bring me there either.
Will not be sleeping tonight.

Yeah, the guy she was engaged to has been having a rough time as of late, and this certainly isn't helping.

my first ex-gfs mom just died thursday from brain cancer. we had become friends again this year after not talking forever.
it was just weird timing though with nick bell from state passing and then her mom a few days later.
