I think you just have to know how to handle LSU fans. I love going to that place. You know they are gonna talk shite to you and most of it is pretty funny.
This past year was probably the worst for obvious reasons. There were a few people that went over the top but for the most part I loved it. I also loved the other 3 times I've been and we got beat.
My worst experiences have been at Ole Miss. I was nearly assualted two years ago after we won. Some old woman and her husband told me I didn't belong where I was sitting. To give the Ole Miss fans credit, these people were an obvious embarrasment to the rest of the Rebel fans.
The first time I went there was in '99. Ole Miss was decent and thought they could win. I sat in Ole Miss section and some guy took my hat off and tossed it down a few rows.
Just from my experience they whine and bitch more than any fanbase I've been around. It's always the referees fault. Some girl wrote a editorial to our student newspaper last about us bringing our whole band to Oxford. She was pissed because she couldn't enjoy Ole Miss' band because ours was loud.
For the most part just retarded. I'm not going this year. There's only one reason to go to Oxford and I'm recently married. Somebody take pics for me.

Alabama 2005, an old lady hit me on the head with her stadium chair because I took out my gold lsu flag before going into overtime and started to wave it. My head hurt but the victory was priceless.

south carolina the first time they ever beat us. tore down the goalposts, went ballistic.
on the way out, some fat usc redneck shoved a very elderly bama fan to the ground. there was a fence between me and my buddy and this event. my friend tried to tear down the fence to get at the redneck. a crowd was already taking care of business with the redneck, so we calmed down enough to get to the car and drive all the way back to tuscaloosa that day. bush league tailgating and fans up there.

At the 2006 AR game in LR two friends from college came in and with to the game with my son and I. One of them almost got into a fight with the two Lesbians in front of us (just lucky I was there to pull the butch off his drunk arse) and the other one with a guy with a red mohawk behind us. Mercifully the police showed up, I pleaded with them to take away my friends but they took the guy with the mohawk instead.

For me Alabama in 05. They beat the crap out of us, but the fans were the worst I've ever encountered and I've been to almost every SEC venue. They threw food and drinks at us in the stadium as we were leaving, cursed us, etc. This isn't an "I heard" story - it happened to me. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I'll be back when the Gators return next year.

This I find really hard to believe.

Finally on the bus, a guy ran onto the UA staff bus and yelled out "War Eagle MF'ers" and threw his drink and then ran.
My buddies dared me too...plus, I was drunker than Cooter Brown so it doesn't count.

Strange but my worst experience ever was at UK in 2007. Zealot and i went to the midnight madness the night before the football game and got littered with drinks thrown directly at us from the upper deck. Security told us if we didn't like it we could leave. We probably deserved it because we snuck in with the UK Basketball team to their lounge area wearing all LSU gear. Patrick Patterson gave us hell but was a nice guy.

They were LSU fans. An old guy saw them.

I found AU to be alright.
Almost got into a fight the night before the Alabama game in 2007. It was just drunken banter that escolated at the SAE house.

I bring out the worst in Auburn fans apparently.
In 04 they won by one point on a ridiculous call and some frat douche bag comes down the hill and starts walking backwards in front of me starting off with "how'd you like the game" etc. I ignore him, he then gets about an inch from my nose poking me in the chest and starts cursing, calling LSU fans sorry mfers (which was pretty ironic), etc. I started to deck him but saw some Aubbie cops standing nearby not doing shite and I knew who would be going to jail if something went down. I just pushed him off me and kept walking.
Then last year as LSU takes the lead late some little 15 year old girl just walks by my row (I was on the end) out of nowhere and says "frick you a-hole." I just said "real classy." She turns around at the bottom of the stairs and screams, "What the frick do you know about class mf'er!" so loud everyone in the section heard her. Then turns and walks off. I bet Mama and Daddy were proud.

MajorGator, 1 post.
Why would you have trouble believing him? He's so credible.
