It very well "could" have been called. He's not saying that it should have. We've had multiple calls against us that were worse.

And that's what he's hinting at. It very well could have been called based on the calls that have been made this year.

Even if the kid had pulled a knife out and stabbed him in his eye Murray would still say a flag shouldn't have been thrown.
