Isn’t part of being a best team winning the games that count including the conference championship game? Otherwise “best” becomes subjective.

When we go to 12 teams you want have to be a champ at either. The 12 best teams no matter if they won a conf champ or not. That is how it should be.

While I agree that that is how it should be (the 12 best teams are chosen) that, unfortunately is not the way they set it up.

As I recall, they have said there would be the P5 champions, A G5 at-large, etc. It will not be the teams (necessarily) that are ranked 1-12.
