Quincy Mauger is the definition of average. He's better than 6 or 7 other safeties in the league, but 6 or 7 other safeties are better than him.
Remember the 3rd and Grantham vs Nebraska? That was Mauger's missed tackle at the sideline. He had a nice square angle on him too, and just whiffed it.
He has made some really good plays too.. not saying he sucks.
I'm saying he's average. Just like I said in OP.

I dont think the east winner will have 3 Ls. I think the best defense in the division will win (who might that be? Hmmmm).
I think 8-4 to 9-3 is about right with the schedule. I do think you have chance to upset Bama and lose to AU. UF, USCe will improve and I hope you beat the dog snot outta UT...UK is going to be tougher imo....Mizzou is the mystery card.

Other than the flashes he showed in 13 vs LSU and SC
He's accomplished nothing.Hell,he caught a wide open pass and burned it down the sideline.
He does have speed about the only thing has been impressive in his career.
