so will you go on record as saying Nutt is a better coach than Petrino?

I've actually never cared for Arky. I remember when was a kid and they were Texas' bitch. I'd prefer them leaving and going to the Big(insert any number). Little Rock is the worst place to see an SEC game (the only place I haven't been is Lexington). It's much worse than Memorial in Jackson or Legion Field was in Birmingham and that was 30 years ago when we placed in those places.

Don't you claim that Petrino is a better coach than Miles because Petrino has a better head to head record?

Well Nutt is 2-1 against Petrino, had a better first 3 years at Arkansas, and has 1 less total win than Petrino in the last 3 years. Based off your own criteria Nutt is clearly the better coach.

That was not an average team Arkansas played.

Oh, I understand you booger eaters better than you understand yourself. Hell, there are a lot of LSU fans wanting to run off Miles and his record at LSU is phenomenal, better than Saban's IIRC. That said, the one who can remember the 90's, the return of white jerseys and how Saban brought LSU out of that should be thankful. I get it though, most are not and feel entitled to winning at a high level.

I love debating with RazorFan. Their entire football history is based on one single win in Little Rock.....you really cant lose the debate!

ARKANSAS - OUR HISTORY IS SOON!

Petrino didn't get the luxury of inheriting a team stacked with talent. Just sayin.

We simply don' want LSU fans soiling Fayetteville. We prefer to keep the trash in Little Rock.

I'm hoping The LSU-A&M game ends up being the last regular season game of the year

So now that the head to head record shows Nutt as the better coach, using your previous criteria to determine a coaches worth, you are changing your tune. Got it.

Petrino is a better coach than Nutt and Miles

Miles is a better recruiter and has the luxury of coaching the only big school in a talent rich state.

There you go.

we are but some think it's more about money invested in the program than who the leader was...we were so fricking cheap in the 90's it was unreal

Nutt also trended down his first 3 years at Arkansas. Went 9-3; then 8-4 and 6-6. In addition, Nutt inherited a much better team from Ford than Petrino inherited from Hootie.

Petrino's record has improved over his first 3 years: 5-7; 8-5; then 10-2.

Petrino's record improved while Hootie's declined.

Did you know that Houston Nutt had a better win % his first three years at R-Kansas than Petrino did?

Nutt also had a much better margin of victory than BP in 1st 3 yrs. (+53% better)

IMO, LSU should be the premiere athletic school in the west between football, baseball and basketball. It is a talent rich state with great history in both football and baseball. I think more can be done in basketball but there seems to be a definite lack of interest. LSU has 2 of the top 50 basketball players of all time, I'd think they could improve that program.

I also think LSU has a great coach in Les. Sure, he's a nit wit at times but he embraces his goofiness. I like that, even if he is a Yankee.
