You sure about that?

Duke lost to AAC Champ, Tulane, so it's no guarantee they would beat JMU.

Duke also just took down a 10-2 power 4 team. So do records really matter?

8-5 (Duke) vs 12-1 (JMU)?

If the argument is going to be made, it should be JMU played 1 ACC team (Louisville) and lost, but unfortunately, since conferences are so big, Duke didn't play that same team.

I think 16 teams in the college football playoffs giving 8 teams a home playoff game in the first round, no byes, no conference championship games, and select the best 16 teams. We are already going to 9 conference games, we can select our conference champion from the regular season with tiebreakers.

No. It should be 8 teams max, only power 4.
